Meanwhile, the mayor promotes "head in the sand" type policies that have no direct effect on anything. If Milwaukee officials would, at least, make an effort, it could go a long way in settling many city residents. I agree. I think much of the crime talk is overblown. But, that doesn't mean it isn't on the minds of people. Part of being safe is feeling safe. Quality of life issues are part of that. The threat of crime can be as crippling as the crime itself.
