"We're going in another direction"
So says Mike McCarthy on the release of Ahmad Carroll. I guess the team has decided on a new strategic direction. They are now going to cover guys on the other team who go out for passes. I like it.

Disagree with this move. The Packers are on the hook for his salary, so this is a sunk cost. Demote him to a 5th string dime back or something. Unless they need the roster space elsewhere, this just leaves them with an even more depleted secondary
