- I am what is kindly referred to as a "veteran attorney," currently working as a law professor at Marquette University Law School. My scholarly interests are in law and religion, the law and political discourse and the Wisconsin Supreme Court. I teach a course on the state supreme court and a seminar in Law & Theology, as well as Civil Procedure for ILs. I am married to the bewitching Reddess of Roscommon, Karen from Mequon. I have a son Christopher, married to the lovely Karra, and astonishingly, given my vigorous youth, two grandsons, Aidan Edward Esenberg (5) and Caleb Richard Esenberg (3 mos.) I write a periodic column for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and serve the Wisconsin Supreme Court as a referee in attorney discipline cases.

If you actually get all the way to Kennedy's "dissent," you find that it is quite Dante-esque.
